This product lasted for 2 years before it gave out. It is certainly kid proof as it was dropped, kicked and held and still worked. It can attach to the back of the seat, has a remote control and one can watch a movie while the other plays a game, which is a bonus. I would buy one of these again.

Simple enough to entertain even the most restless of kids. One can watch a movie while the other hooks up his game and plays that. I have two teenagers and an nine year ancient, and the teenagers are the worst when it comes to long drives. Thankfully this keeps them occupied until we reach our destination.
BEWARE OF DURABRAND!

Back last year, Christmas time. My mother in law bought a "Durabrand" Desktop Stereo. She is from the days where "Stores stand behind their product, you don't need a receipt" type of POLICIES for RETURNS! Can I just tell you what H#LL I went through to return this item? First, the company that MADE the product in Indianapolis claims "It isn't one of our model numbers. Try calling WMCorp. to find the Right number". I told the guy "Sir, the sticker on the back of the unit and my warranty information said to contact you or mail in the product in question." He then said, "MA'AM...I'm sorry but if you mailed it into us, we would have just shipped it back to you as THIS is NOT our PRODUCT." STuck with a unit that no longer worked (by the way, this was just about 3 months ago that this all occured) I had to climb to H#LL and BACK to get it resolved. I had to whine and complain to Corp. and back and forth this went on for over 3 weeks until I finally got to take in the unit, get a $50 dollar price amount slapped on it and paid an additional $20 bucks for a JVC. Not to mention the humiliation that I had to endure as the "manager" on duty questioned "ARE YOU SURE YOU GOT THIS FROM WM? (as by the way...NO ONE ELSE MAKES OR SELLS DURABRAND!)" I said "Yes, my mother in law is absolutely sure". Save yourself the distress and buy (if you MUST get this item)another item of equal value with a REAL name attached to the product (Panasonic, JVC, Sony) or DO NOT LOSE THE RECEIPT, BOX, MANUAL and ANYTHING ELSE THAT CAME WITH THE UNIT. I would not wish the same H#LL I received on you!
