I bought this item refurbished it only lasted about 6- 8 mos. I liked the dvd the volume was not as high as i would have liked but on some dvds the sound was much louder. It was very simple to change the dvd’s in and out. It came with a simple strap that wrapped around the seat to hold them to the headrest which sometimes had to be readjusted to sit straight but i still liked it. The remote worked very well with it. The very worst thing that happened to the dvd player was very perilous while me and the family were traveling in the van with our kids in the back seat, we smelled smoke and the dvd player was smoking no warning that their was a problem with the dvd player before then. I would be worried to leave this dvd player with a child alone. I gave it 3 stars because I had another dvd player and it was worse than it. I hope this helps.
